While some dermatology visits are covered by insurance, unfortunately, Red Light Therapy at Restore is not covered by insurance companies at this time.

There are a few risks associated with Red Light Therapy. Typically, negative side effects (which are rare) are due to misuse of at-home products or prolonged exposure to Red Light Therapy which can cause tissue and cell damage and burns to the skin. It’s vital to follow directions when using Red Light Therapy and talk to your doctor to discuss the potential benefits and side effects before starting treatment.

Red Light Therapy has been shown to be beneficial for improved energy, sleep, bone recovery, pain reduction and inflammation. As more studies are published, newer applications for its intended use continue to arise. Just a few years ago, the benefits of red and near-infrared light were shown to influence the gut microbiome and increase collagen production. And now, Red Light Therapy has been linked to eye health in those 40 and older. Other studies show that Red Light Therapy may benefit the face and skin by increasing collagen production, circulation and cell damage. Yes. Red Light Therapy uses very low levels of heat that do not hurt or burn the skin. Unlike tanning booths, Red Light Therapy won’t expose skin to damaging UV rays. Like other therapies at Restore, this therapy can be an effective tool when used consistently with professional equipment and expert guidance.

One form of Cryotherapy treatment we offer at Restore is Whole Body Cryotherapy. This service exposes the entire body to sub-zero temperatures inside of a chamber for up to 3 minutes. As the body is exposed to these freezing temperatures, it enacts a natural fight or flight response that constricts blood vessels to restrict blood away from the extremities. This redirection causes your body to move blood toward the core, protecting your organs. During this process, the body increases its levels of oxygen and certain proteins that can decrease swelling. Not sure what to expect when you visit us for your Cryotherapy appointment? After you complete a simple medical waiver you’ll head to a private changing room. Our Cryotherapy chamber uses sub-zero temperatures to deliver cold therapy, so you’ll need to protect certain parts of your body from the cold! We’ll provide you with a hat, socks, slippers and gloves to use during your session. Some people simply wear their shorts or other workout clothes, but we’ll provide you with a robe if you prefer a little extra coverage.

Once you’ve changed into your protective gear, you’ll head back to our proprietary chamber. You can select some music to pump you up, then you’ll enter the chamber where you’ll stay for up to 3 minutes.

Not sure you can make it the full session? No worries! A healthy Cryotherapy practice may be something you work your way up to, gradually increasing the time you’re able to spend in the chamber each visit. In general, it will feel like standing outside on a very cold winter day!

After you get out, you’ll feel energized, and alert and may even experience a bit of a mood boost.

After completing a simple waiver, our expert staff will have you lie down on one of our comfortable lounge chairs and put our Normatec Compression boots on your legs. Our Compression boots are comfortable, flexible devices that cover your foot all the way up to over your knee. During your session, you can lay back and relax while the boots gradually fill with pressurized air and then empty out. The result is a light, controlled pressure on your extremities. You can also choose to place the Compression sleeves on your arms. With our compression session, you’re in control! Yes, the Infrared Sauna at Restore allows you to connect to Bluetooth and listen to music or a podcast through the speakers.

Most Infrared Sauna sessions are 30-45 minutes, depending on your tolerance and desired outcome. You can start with shorter sessions and gradually increase your time to maximize the benefits.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing, preferably made from natural fabrics, and avoid wearing jewelry or anything that might restrict circulation.

In general, this therapy is safe for healthy adults. However, pregnant women, children, individuals with certain medical conditions and those on specific medications should consult their healthcare professional before using any type of sauna.

You should feel radiant but gentle heat waves. These waves should slowly heat your body from the inside out and cause you to sweat without getting overheated.

For IM Shots, vitamins and minerals are injected directly into the muscle tissue where they’re gradually absorbed into the bloodstream. This process only takes around five minutes. During an IV (intravenous) Drip, a small catheter is inserted into the vein. Vitamins and minerals, along with a liter of saline (for hydration), are delivered directly into your bloodstream for 60-90 minutes, depending on the IV Drip ingredients.

It is recommended to suspend workouts until the following day after peel application.

It is recommended to suspend use of resurfacing acids, retinol, scrubs or brushes for a minimum of 24 hours after the peel.

An initial mild tingling or stinging sensation is normal but not felt by everyone.

The Keravive treatment was developed based on the body’s natural hair growth cycles, which typically occur every 6 months. We recommend Keravive treatment every month for 3-6 months in conjunction with the Keravive peptide take-gome spray for daily use. As with all treatments, results vary.

The treatment is pain–free, gentle and relaxing. You will feel some suction on your scalp and a cooling sensation from the solutions that are administered during the treatment.

Yes, the Keravive treatment and take–home spray can be used on clients with bonded or taped–in hair extensions, braids or locs.
