Dr. Guzon is a board-certified Cardiovascular Disease specialist with particular interests in cardiovascular disease prevention, risk modification, and the interplay between cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic diseases, such as obesity and diabetes. He has been in private practice for the past 15 years and is often engaged in speaking activities, educating nurse practitioners and fellow physicians on topics such as heart failure, diabetes, kidney disease, and atrial fibrillation.
Before heading into private practice, Dr. Guzon earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s accelerated 6-year BA/MD program. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship in St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri, respectively.
A life-long sports enthusiast, Dr. Guzon has always been in awe of the human body’s capacity. He was drawn to Restore’s mission to help our customers feel their best, reach their fullest potential, and do more of what they love. As a Medical Director at Restore, he helps review our treatment protocols, provides insight into Restore’s offerings, and interacts with the nurses and other physicians regularly.
