Stretch+ is comprised of individuals that come from all different backgrounds – strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers, athletic trainers, aspiring occupational and physical therapists, as well as yoga instructors.

At Stretch+ we are doing more than providing assisted stretching. We are helping customers understand their bodies, giving them an opportunity to unplug from their stressful day, and allowing them to quiet their minds. There is a huge psychological component to stretching that we acknowledge. This goes back to creating an environment where people feel restored – this is the culture of Stretch+.
Human beings are survivalists. Compensation patterns occur after an injury as the body attempts to continue functioning as safely as possible. Every day, humans sit, walk, lift, squat, etc., regardless of proper movement. Movement is necessary, but it is not always done safely.
The same way we build levees to control the flow of water to an area so too does the human body restrict movement if there is a threat to safety. The body uses compensation patterns to continue moving even when there is dysfunction. The mind is like the levee, altering the flow of movement to feel safe. Safety equals stability.
Stretch+ utilizes assisted stretching as a way to bypass the compensation patterns because clients are not having to create stability while lying on the table—it is both easier and safer to deconstruct a levee when the water level is down.
What You Can Expect:

• Weekly sessions can help you Do More. We recommended a total of 3-6 sessions for the best results.
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• We use the vibration massage tool, Hypervolt, prior to stretching for an optimal stretch session.
• Most sessions last 25 minutes
